Armen Kocharian was invited to work as a Visiting Professor at the Union College, Schenectady in 1993. In 1996, he was invited to work at M.W. Keck Computational Material Theory Center on theoretical physics and to teach physics at California State University, Northridge. Since 2006 Kocharian has been a Professor in Physics at California State University, Los Angeles and has also been teaching Physics courses at American Jewish University more than ten years.
His recent accomplishment in nanoscience and nanomaterials is a bottom up approach in studies of electron instabilities in high TC superconductivity, Bose Einstein condensation, ferromagnetism, entanglement and phase transitions in nanoelements. Dr. Kocharian is a peer reviewer of prestigious Physics Letters A, editor of ISRN Condensed Matter Physics and other international journals. He is also a member of the advisory board of international conferences and has published more than 200 papers.
