Platt & Borstein Galleries - About Us

Mission Statement

The Platt and Borstein Galleries explore creative practice, cultures and ideas, with an emphasis on contemporary work. The Galleries invite diverse audiences to a vital space of creativity, seeking to deepen and enhance the understanding of visual arts as critical facets of our society, as well as inseparable from Jewish thinking, values and histories.

As gallery spaces based in an educational environment, the Platt and Borstein Galleries present a distinct program of rotating exhibitions, as well as programs and publications. These activities and events share an interest in promoting, nurturing and developing exploration, critical thinking and inquiry into the complexities that define social relations in the communities surrounding us.
